  • Yard and Garage Makeover

It was an honor for the volunteers at SERVE Waupun to help out Michael with this yard and garage makeover. This cleanup required several strong backs and a large trailer to haul debris and brush. In addition, we were able to take away the clutter from his garage that Michael no longer wanted.

  • Brand New Garage

Our special project for 2021 was the demolition of an old garage and the building of a brand new garage for Terri Respalje.  This was a much larger project than we normally take on but we wanted to do something special for a woman who has dedicated her life to serving others.  Terri has served as the manager of the Waupun Food Pantry for several years.

    See project photo gallery.

  • Flower Garden Weeding

For this project, a couple of our volunteers come to Joyce's house from time to time to make sure her garden is properly weeded.

  • Kitchen make-over

This project provided quite a transformation for Cindy.  Our volunteers painted the walls and ceilings of this kitchen.  In addition, they sanded down all the kitchen cabinets and doors and covered them with a fresh coat of paint.

  • Several volunteers had a hand in building this brand new room at the union.  The room was previously a wide open space that was originally a locker room when the high school still used this building.  Our group of volunteers managed the project, picked up all the materials, and built the room from nothing to what you see today.

This new room will be the home for RISE, a high school student leader group in City Life.  RISE is short for Raising up Indigenous Leaders who Serve and Engage.

  • For this project, Eileen requested that we fix up her landscape edging and that we fill empty spots with new decorative stone.   This stone was generously donated by Sticks and Stones.
